I am writing to inform the governor about the apparent corruption and failings of the Union County DSS department. I have tried in the past to reach out to the Governors staff only to be told that they had read the DSS file and did not want to hear from me and my family. I really don't expect this time to be any different. Union County DSS workers have tried to barter children, throw court cases, and bold face lied under oath about my family. After my cases are settled my family doors will be closed to fostering. We love children and being able to provide a ministry to these children and their families but DSS has taken all the joy out of fostering as I believe they do not have the best interest of the child in mind but their own selfish economic and personal motivations. I am saddened by the past responses from this administration and will not vote for Nikki Haley again, nor will my family. Sincerely, Edward Dalsing
