New Sewer pipes where placed in my housing area, by East Richland County sewer. They failed to block off the old sewer lines.Now water has come up from the old sewer lines and is flooding mine and a nieghbors house. We have been fighting to have someone do something about it. ERCSD has accepted that they are responsible for a contractor not doing a good Job. However they come out scratch there heads wondering what to do? Meanwhile our houses and yards are becoming a marsh and under our houses flooded. I am 75 years old. I am a military widow. I have been digging ditchers around my house to get the water from under it.Please we need help. I have contacted my council person Jim Manning, he has called them a couple of times, they came out again Found one of the pipes and blocked it off. Now the water is coming out of the man hole and flowing under our houses.We need help. I have lived in my house 43 years and never had a water problem.Please please help us.Sincerley Catherine M.
