i was charged with a DUI in November of 2013 finally went to court in march of 2014. i tried to get mine dropped to reckless driving . i did not blow and was taken out of view of camera on my field sobriety test. i feel i was pushed to plead to unlawful alcohol concentration by public defender. then i see where the former head of SCDOT was caught at 8 am and blew .20. he was allowed to plead to reckless driving. i was told it was against the law to drop DUI to reckless driving. is this something that just applies to the rich and department heads? this is completely unfair. and this kinda stuff happens way to much in Lexington county. i am asking something be done about this what i see as corruption in Lexington county.at the time of my arrest i was a hard working truck driver on my way home in a personal vehicle after being on road for 2 weeks. i loved my job. i just want a fair shake just like the wealthy and ones high in goverment. thank you
