So I guess I'll just do it here on Facebook. I have for two months been calling Cheryl Sanford, and emailing her, with no response. I have sent numerous emails to her staff, and made numerous phone calls to her staff, that all fell on deaf ear. I am amazed that the employees at department of unemployment are not held responsible for their actions. I applied for unemployment in mid-December, my phone interview date was it mid January. At this time the employee I spoke with was very rude and abrupt, and did not give me the proper information. She told me that Wyndham said I quit. The employee informed me to simply send in the termination paper. I told the employee several times I was on FMLA when I was terminated. She only instructed me to send in the termination paper. She stressed that all I have to prove was that I did not quit. This is exactly what I did. I was turned down for unemployment, because I did not prove that I had doctors notes and was on FMLA. I have called and spoke to employees who have just brushed me off. No one is acknowledging that the employee gave me the wrong information. Which I can prove because I have every phone conversation recorded. Being out of work last year with my illness, and not receiving the unemployment in a timely matter which I was entitled to, I have facing extreme hardship. I was served eviction notice 2 days ago, and will most likely have my electric cut off this weekend. I was also told that after my appeal I am being penalized 10 weeks without unemployment because I'm having to appeal it. And I'll say it again, I am having to appeal it because the employees did not do their job nor are they being held accountable. I am appalled that these employees are not held accountable and even more appalled that there is no way for the average citizen to speak with someone to handle this matter. I have now made an appointment to see my attorney, and I plan to take this to the furthest extent possible. I am being discriminated against as a single female senior citizen. This department has got to be the most poorly run in the United States. For their employees not to be held accountable, and 0% customer service. Please be assured, the day I am evicted, I will have every new paper and news crew here. I will have to walk away from all my belongings, since I have no funds to move it.
