Smith 52 Fort Royal Avenue Charleston SC 29407 smithirene601@gmail.com 843-571-7805 ENVI Drilling off the SC coast 76.73.247.128 I am totally opposed to drilling for oil or anything else off the coast of South Carolina. We have seen what has happened to the La. coast. It will never in our lifetime recover completely. Our coast is not just beautiful beaches and oceans, it is our livelihood. I read an article about oil drilling on the Missouri river and that there are small spills every 3 or 4 days. I know that having our own oil in the US is important. I know that saying "yes" to drilling off the SC coast would be good for you politically, but I feel that it is time to look at the over all results. Is it really worth it to ruin your state's coastline to promote yourself politically?
