As a teacher in SC, I humbly request Governor Haley to declare Jan 12th, 2016 a state holiday due to the fact the Clemson Tigers will be playing in the national championship game Jan 11th at 8:30 pm. This game will not be over until 11:30-12:00. Many of my students will be watching this game due to the fact Clemson has not played in this game since 1981. If we have school the next day, many students will stay home, and those who do come to school will be in no condition to learn. Please consider doing this.
