| (Columbia-AP) -- Democratic presidential
candidate John Edwards has received a rockin' endorsement.
The band Hootie and the Blowfish will join Edwards today when he officially files for the South Carolina Democratic primary. The bandmates' roots have something in common with the North Carolina senator. Hootie and the Blowfish formed at the University of South Carolina, while Edwards was born in South Carolina's Upstate. The band says it plans a concert in the state before the Democratic primary on February 3rd. |
