Dear Governor Haley,
I should begin by congratulating you concerning your new role as Ambassador to the UN. Your new role is part of the reason I write today, as you will be leaving office soon. 
You may not remember, but I am the person who recommended and tipped-off your office to job negotiations with TD bank early on, in your governorship.  I received a call from your staff thanking me for my contribution and stating that your office desired to be of further assistance if at all possible.
As a fellow republican, I was pleased at the time to have simply been of assistance to your office and the citizens of South Carolina, but as you leave your Governor position, I would request you consider one last agenda to pursue.  
It has recently come to my attention how real the problem of human trafficking is in our country and our state. I know there is a task force and some legislation in place to pursue and stop this kind of activity, but I have read through the 2015 Task Force Report and recognized that more could be done. We need to and must pursue this criminal activity aggressively in order to deter and stop it.

Some goals I know you will not be able to accomplish in such a short time, but there are things you can do to strength our state's efforts to stamp out this hideous crime. Even setting forth a proposal for consideration would be better than nothing. 
Finally, I know this very issue maybe of concern and consideration in your next role as well. But, I believe that pursuing this goal at this time and in this state will solidify your legacy within our state and our country as not only a leader of economic growth but a defender of justice and human rights.
I look forward to seeing what the future holds for you and our great state. I wish prudence and steadfast integrity in your new role. Thank you for the work you have done in our state and for her people.
