Dear Governor Haley,
I am writing to urge you to move
forward on developing a state plan to
comply with the Environmental
Protection Agency's (EPA) Clean Power
Plan. The children of our state
are entitled to clean air and a stop to
the rising rates of asthma and
other pollution associated diseases. We
need to lead in the fight
against global warming not dragged kicking
and screaming eventually to
the same conclusion
While the courts do their due diligence by
reviewing the Clean Power
Plan, I strongly encourage you to ensure our
state powers ahead on
developing plans to act on climate change by
limiting heat-trapping
emissions and transitioning to renewable
energy.
