However, I believe our daughter was wrongfully arrested on 8/10/2016 in Saluda SC. I would like to send yo the 911 call and police report. Our dauhter Allison Danielle Boatwright was trying to leave with her 2 year old daughter(as indicated on the 911 call) Her mother in law Denise Boatwright and her husband William David Boatright became verbally abusive that morning because she was sleeping. Will and his mom were hiome and were watching their 2 Year old daughter. They began yelling at her and Allie tried to call her father and me to come get her and the baby Savannah. This is not the first time we have gone to get her from verbal abuse from her husband. The police reports cites that Will wad upset becuase Allison was sleeping alot and laving him and his mom to watch the baby. Will was not working at the time. What is not state on the police report is that Alison was 8 weeks pregnant and she was trying to use the phones to all for help. Will and his mom confiscated her phone, hung up the hone while she was using the land line and finaly got Wills phone, went to the front of the house to call and Will grabbed the phone and slapped her so she slapped him back. The pictures of him are very minor and the redness on his chest is from being in the pool with the baby and his mom and he had scratches from cutting don trees at his cousin David McGees home. He also pulled allisons hair while she was packing her and Savannahs suitcase. The concern here is that Allie was left alone to talk to the police and did not press charges against Will because this was the first time they have ever had an altercation and with her being 8 weeks pregnant and thy wete planning to move out of his moms house , she did not want him to get arrested. Will however, had a large number of his moms friends over and they were with will counseling him on what to say o the police report, including Vikie Pierce, that knew the officers as she used to work for saluda county. On the 911 call, Denise Boatwright also called for special help from her cousin Sgt. Luke Harmon of saluda County. She was arrested and has been fighting for custiody of her daughter Savannah. She is a successful registered nurse and expecting their son on March 2017. Will has served her with emergency divorce and custody papers becua he felt that she was a threat. Again, his photographed injuries were minor and believed to be unrelated to their altercation. However Will hit her , knowing she was expecting their second child and he and his mom kept her from using a phone to call for help. Denise Boatwright made the 911 call. My question is...how was Will not arrested since he hit his pregnant wife and why wasn't Denise Boatwright arrested since she kept Allison from calling out for help. Will also confiscated their only car keys so she could not leave. I am asking you Governor Haylee to please review this case and help us. I appreciate your New Domestic Violence laws but I feel like the police officers arrested the wrong person and there were people called over to the house by Mrs Denise Boatwright that caused a conflict of interest and out Allison on an unfair biased police interview. Hopefully w an make this right and van also be used as a learning tool for future domestic violence arrests. You may contact me at Saskey03@aol.com. If you have any questions. Also Allison is using Dan Keinker a her attorney. I can send you he police report and 911 call. Thank you for any help. Susan Greene Askey Saskey03@aol.com 704-562-7649
