<WFUD_Request>I am trying to figure out who to contact with a complaint with Medicaid  I filled out an application for my husband one year ago in April.  I have heard nothing.  I call every couple months and I get the same story- we see no issues, no reason he wouldn't be approved, we will escalate his application. They keep telling me they are behind due to the flood  The flood happened in October which was 7 months after I applied for him.  He had to have emergency gall bladder surgery during the flood and the hospital stated they tried to get in contact to get the status and they stated they were told the same thing that he would be approved but they were backed up and would escalate his application.  We now have thousands of dollars in hospital bills and they stated we only have one year to file with Medicaid.  Please help me if you can, I am not sure who else to call or what else I can do, it has been almost a year to date and I cant seem to get any help and we really need some help  Thanks so much for your help.</WFUD_Request>
