I was involed in a motor vechile accident on May 21 2015 with a school bus from darlington county school district. The accident was the school buses fault. I suffered a broken femur in two places which they had to fly me to Palmetto Richland to do the surgery and for the rest of my injuries. As you know there is a limit on how much the state insurance is allow to give me. The problem I have is my injury is causing a lot of problems I want to go back to work at Nucor and can not until I'm 100%. So I have been living of savings and short term disability while the bills are coming in. Almost five months have passed now the hospitals were are wanting money that I don't have since I have been out of work. Why can't the state insurance settle with me knowing it is a limits case. My bills are all in now they know that. They also know I will more than likely have another surgery and will always have problems with my leg. I've always worked hard and sent my wife and now my daughter to Coker college. I just want to know why it is taking so long and about to break me and my family waiting on a settlement when the wreck wasn't my fault! Thanks I hope to hear something soon. God bless
