Could you PLEASE look into the problem of our Simpsonville city council that is doing their darnedest to get our Chief of Police fired, again.  It seems that our mayor is hell-bent on getting Keith Grounsell out of office.  She (the mayor) and the other members of council have called another "emergency" meeting regarding our Chief.  He was fired once before, but reinstated.  Most recently, in April, he was suspended for 30 days for something posted on Facebook.

I have heard many derogatory comments about the Mayor and her corrupt council and how they are giving our town a "bad" name.  Too much drama for this town!  If Chief needs to be fired, then, let it be for the right reasons and not because he refuses to give in to the "good 'ol boy" ways that I have heard this Mayor runs the town and the council.

We cannot "fire" the council.  Only you can do that.  We as citizens cannot do anything until election time.  Many folks are tired, and fed up with the drama.  We need either you to rid us of this Mayor and council or find sufficient evidence to fire Chief Grounsell.
