• The wing has five organizations:
operations, maintenance, mission support, medical and staff.
• There are four C-17-flying
squadrons -- the 14th; 15th, 16th and 17th. They provide
combat-ready air crews for missions that include carrying troops and
cargo for airdrops and humanitarian airlifts.
