I have a question about the roll of Governor as it relates to removing an elected county sheriff who has betrayed the public trust.  Does the Governor's office have any power to do so?  Where can I find the constitution and code for determining who has the actual authority to step in and remove a corrupt county sheriff?  If the Governor can in fact suspend or remove a sheriff, would she be inclined to do so in this case if it can be done so in accordance with state law?
