Dwyer 1403 Creek Drive Johnson City TN 37604 dwyer@etsu.edu (423)439-7593 ENVI Zika virus 50.142.102.243 Dear Governor Haley, The zika virus threat appears like a future problem, especially for the coastal areas of South Carolina. My family and I love to visit Myrtle Beach. Compass Cove is our favorite destination and while there we enjoy eating and walking at Merrill's Inlet. Please encourage all South Carolina members of Congress to support full funding in the fight against the zika virus $2 billion). We can consider this threat as a menace to our well-being as a nation and worthy of focused attention at all levels of the private sector and government. The economic impact on SC would be devastating if the zika virus gets a hold on the coastal areas of South Carolina; in addition, there might well be a high human cost as well. This is a national security issue. Americans are in danger more from zika than from perceived enemies in distant lands. Sincerely, Ed Dwyer
