A class action lawsuit has been filed on behalf of Stratford High School students who were subjected to a drug raid by Goose Creek Police on November 5th.  The raid found no drugs.

Attorney Ron Motley is representing the plaintiffs.  The civil suit charges that the teenagers' 4th and 14th Amendment rights were violated by Goose Creek Police, Stratford Principal George McCrackin, the Berkeley County School District, and the City of Goose Creek among others.

Defendants are accused of unreasonable search and seizure, assault, battery and false arrest and deprivation of liberty without due process.

When asked to comment, many of the defendants declined stating that they have not yet received copies of the complaint.
