The husband is legally blind while his wife was born with growth delays as a child; they receive disability checks as well as working for the South Carolina Commission of the Blind. In fact, the husband has worked for the agency for at least thirty (30) years, later his wife was hired on to help him. Last year, the wife's father died and left the house to her and her brother. They are now in the process of taking his name off of important documents for the property. The house is in need of repairs. It is our hope that they will be able to move into the property by September so that they can utilize the Homestead Act in order to reduce their taxes. Our request to you is that their 2016 taxes are rescinded due to their disabilities and their inability to pay this years taxes, so they won't lose the family home. The property is under presently Linda Logan and Larkin Williams, Jr. As I said before Larkin Jr. has agreed to take his name off the legal papers so that Linda's husband, Ronnie Logan can be added. Respectfully, Melva Webb-Akins, CEO/Founder Webb-Akins Institute of Change 162.72.86.232
