Love this state! My idea for funding to improve our roads is to have a bottle/can return charge with part of this charge returning to the State. It would be fair in that more people drink bottled or canned soda, alcohol and water then drive. By having a bottle/can return fee would also help keep our state and county roads free of this trash. In conclusion, I feel this bottle/can return fee would bring in more money than an increase on the state's gas tax. Please share this idea with Gov. Nikki Haley. Thank you.
