Since it is doubtful Republicans, or for that matter Democrats (not that the two are distinguishable any longer), will accept responsibility for the deteriorating confidence in our, for lack of a better term, leaders, the hope of finding solutions is extremely dim. As for not succumbing to the angry voices, your Party has done an excellent job of doing the same. You certainly have not heeded the angry voices that you used to get into this office! Now, it is quite possible Republicans will pay the price for their deafness. The actions, or mostly the lack of actions, of your party have put Trump in a position to appeal to constituents who have no where else to turn. Sorry, we can no longer accept "governain't"! As for the gas tax... I see this continued effort to grab more of our money no different than if your neighbor just won a billion dollars in the lottery and asked to borrow money from you.
