You cut it in half by making it an all day program and only funded certain schools to add another teacher. You are putting the workers under DSS daycare regulations and adding expense to meet the guidelines for daycares. Example: FBI Finger printing; FBI background checks; Medical Physicals; DSS regulations and checks. I understand you wanted to take the program and make it better, but have you really???? Why could it not have stayed under the school districts and left DSS out completely?? The school districts have been running these programs under Title 1 for years with very good results. I do vote, and voted for you, but this I will have to disagree with you.
