Please do not veto the 2017 education budget. I watched your State of the State Address and in that speech, you profess to be pro-education. If this is true, you will not veto the 2017 budget. Education is essential to the social and financial success of South Carolina and education costs money, period. If South Carolina is not willing to spend more on students and pay teachers a wage that allows them financial security, then South Carolina will continue to rank near the bottom in education in this country. Again, I hope what you said in your speech was honest. Politicians tend to have their own agenda, and often, that agenda is not what is best for the many. Real leaders say what they mean and mean what they say. Let's hope you are a real leader.
