Waiting on the final go ahead from the Gov. But put this on top of your stack for next week please.
Thank you.

The dinner is the night of Thurs, May 15th. We just wanted our President read it aloud when recognizing him. It does not have to be long and can be very informal! So anytime before the 15th would be fabulous!
You're the best, I can't thank you enough!

Hey Ems. We'll get this done for you. Do you need it by a specific time or day?

Happy Tuesday! I hope all is well. I emailed Haley Mottel (see below) several weeks ago to ask if the Governor would be kind enough to send an official statement congratulating Rep. Murrell Smith on his honorary degree he is receiving from MUSC to be read aloud at the honorees dinner on May 15th. I haven't heard back from her, but I know how overwhelmed she has been. Could you point me in the right direction as to who else I could send this request to? Your insight is greatly appreciated. :)
Thank you!

I hope you had a very Happy Easter! I'm so sad I missed you in Hilton Head!
I have a favor to ask of you, if permissible. MUSC is honoring Rep. Murrell Smith with an honorary degree for his working on transforming the delivery of healthcare in our state during our graduation ceremonies on May 16th. We host an honorary degree recipients dinner the night before the ceremonies for the honorees, and would be honored if the Governor would send a statement to be read at the dinner congratulating Rep. Smith on his award. The Gov. and Rep. Smith worked closely together to implement the Governor's plan for Rural Hospitals in 2013, which included 100% reimbursement of uninsured patients to rural hospitals to counteract the cuts they will face and transforming rural areas and ultimately our state with a strong investment at MUSC in telemedicine technology to deliver more efficient and effective care. It would not be a resolution or anything of the sort, only a brief statement with her blessings that our Board chairman can read when recognizing Rep. Smith and his family. Anything you can do to help would be greatly appreciated, but I understand completely how busy you are!
You're the best, and MANY thanks!
