I am the E.D&lt of the YCBDSN and an adoptive mother of 5 children with Down syndrome. I have been named one of 18 "super advocates" for Advocates for Family First from across the country. We will gather in Washington in June to receive training and meet with legislators regarding the child welfare system. At this point my platform deals with the adoption of children with special needs and care for children with special needs in the foster care system. I am reaching out to see if there is anything specific Governor Haley would like to see discussed in this forum.  I have reached out to the director of DSS and am trying to get on her calendar.
