Thurston 915 Hwy. 8 East Pelzer SC 29669 jdtts@bellsouth.net HEAL Medicaid Expansion My son is self employed and has one child. His wife draws disability. He applied for insurance through the marketplace for him and his child. His child was eligible for medicaid but he was just over the limit for him to receive medicaid. Had you accepted the medicaid expansion he would have qualified also. He can't afford to pay premiums and it is almost like there is a hole and he's in it because anybody making below the 133 percent mark will not be able to receive assistance either. I feel you are being unfair to not accept this offer for help for these people who are trying to work and take care of their families and PAY taxes. You are letting this help go to other states. You are sending our money out of our state. This money is going to go to help people somewhere. Why not us?
