Celebrate the "Holly-Days" at the State Farmers Markets

(Columbia, SC)---Christmas trees, citrus fruits and fruit baskets, poinsettias, garlands, wreaths, and other holiday items are available at the State Farmers Markets in Columbia, Florence, and Greenville.

Buyers can select from a variety of thousands of fresh cut or balled and bagged Christmas trees as well as wreaths and other greenery for the holiday season in these"one-stop-shopping malls.” Shoppers need not fear the weather at the three markets, because each one has a drive-through covered shed that is "brimming with trimmings" for the convenience of shoppers.

Out on the markets, shoppers can find a vast array of fresh fruits and vegetables as well as fresh-shelled pecans, poinsettias, wreaths, ready-made fruit baskets, and lots of greenery and plants for the holidays.

The Columbia State Farmers Market, located across from Williams-Brice Stadium on Bluff Road, is open from 6 AM to 9 PM, Monday through Saturday, and 10 AM to 9 PM, Sunday.

The Greenville State Farmers Market at 1354 Rutherford Road, is open 7:30 AM to 5:30 PM, Monday through Saturday, and closed on Sunday.

The Pee Dee State Farmers Market, located at 2513 W. Lucas Street (Highway 52) in Florence, is open from 8 AM to 7 PM, Monday through Saturday, and until December 17th is open on Sunday from 1 PM to 6 PM.
