Dear Governor Haley,

We just received a letter stating that my son's abuser was getting out of prison early. He is a child molester. It doesn't seem that time off for good behavior serves justice, especially since his prison sentence was already shortened because of his health issues. He stole so much from my son, and he serves less than 1 year in prison. 
This man's name is James Theodore O'Brien and his offender # is 00363738. He was our minister and friend, and he purposefully betrayed us and hurt our son. How can a man like this get a shortened detention for "good behavior?" He is a child predator. There are no children in prison to prey on.
