I do not support your call to remove the Confederate Flag. Racism is horrible but the Flag is not a symbol of racism. It is a symbol of our Heritage that some have perverted for their own horrible ends. The Confederate Flag does not cause racism. Will we now rename the streets in the state and remove all confederate statues on government property? Leave the Confederate Flag where it is or move it somewhere else on property. Please do not stick it in a glass cabinet where no one will see it to remember our ancestors who gave their lives for freedom.
