The Department of Motor Vehicles made getting your DMV needs alot easier.Today marks the beginning of Saturday service at several branches across the state, including the office on Leeds Avenue in North Charleston. Residents and DMV workers both commented on how things ran smoothier today. Many residents were impressed and particular apprecitive that they can now come on Saturdays and not have to race to the DMV on their lunch breaks.

Additonal Services to Come:

 

June 8  Driver record and point status, completion of pending registrations, and payment of driver license reinstatement fees.

June 18  Renew identification card, duplicate driver's license, and duplicate registration card.

June 30 Renew driver's license and address changes.

The intranet address for the DMV transaction web site is http://www.scdmvonline.com/.

Customers accessing the DMV website will submit identifying information such as a driver license number and social security number. DMV will accept VISA, Master Card and Discover card payments for online services. No additional fees will be charged.
