This included Iraquis, Syrians, Iranians, Jordanians, Lebanese etc. I am not someone who paints all cultures or religions with one brush. Whilst I understand the plight of Syrians, and am sympathetic to their sufferig, I have grave concerns regarding the intentions of our president to allow tens of thousands of unvetted Syrians to enter the US and be settled in all 50 states. ISIS has already announced clearly their intention to infiltrate these refugees and gain easy access to Europe and North America. We have already seen the outcome of the open door policy European lawmakers have initiated. Paris is only the start of what I fear is going to be much more substantial attacks against the EU. And now, our president is inviting the same kind of tragedy to our own soil. If he is unwilling to protect American citizens and is so idiotic as to not see the writing on the wall, there is little we can do. However, it then falls upon the governors of our great states to refuse to allow these people to be settled in the states they represent. I am urging yoou to stand with the other dozen or so governors who are refusing to accept these refugees being re-homed here in South Carolina in the absence of some serious vetting to ensure they do not pose a risk to the residents of this state. I hope you will seriously consider this appeal, and take action immediately to protect yoour constituency.
