Brian:
As we discussed, we would like to have a welcoming letter from Governor Haley in the front of our program book. A letter similar to the one the Governor signed in the Hilton Head Concours would be great. Details of the Motoring Retreat can be found at
www.kiawahconcours.com .
We expect to have a amazing selection of fine automobiles at the Sunday Concours including an Anderson owned by collector Paul Ianaurio, which we believe is the oldest operating auto made in South Carolina. Our event is billed as "A Lowcountry Celebration of Outstanding Automobiles" and we'll have a series of events celebrating the food and heritage of the Lowcountry to compliment the rolling art that the fine automobiles represent. I've attached an article written for the Post & Courier that discusses the history of our event.
Of course, we would be pleased to host Governor Haley and Michael at any of our events if it were to fit their schedule. Please contact me if you have any questions. Thanks for your help.
