Georgia had widened its interstate to three lanes and improved the safety of its roads by widening the shoulders so that falling tress will not interfere with safety of the roadway. Without this compromise we cannot move forward and ensure our roadways are safe. Our lawmakers in the South Carolina House of Representatives and Senate have found middle ground and voted to pass a roads repair bill thats now on Governor Haleys desk awaiting a signature. The compromise bill is a great start toward fixing the broken roads and bridges in the Palmetto State and reforming the system that maintains them long term. Please support their efforts and approve the road repair bill on your desk as soon as possible.
