-- LATEST DEVELOPMENTS
Here are the most recent developments concerning Gov. Mark Sanford's Air Force Reserves service:

• If his unit is called to active duty, Sanford will officially turn over control of the state to Lt. Gov. Andre Bauer, via a constitutionally mandated letter to the House speaker and the Senate president pro tem.

• Sanford will attend a two-week Reserve Officer Training course in late March or early April in Alabama. He will not transfer gubernatorial power while at the training.
