I am in desperate need of your help. My 16 year old daughter was taken from me on September 11, 2015. DSS claimed there was an abusive situation (which I will have no problem discussing with you). Without any warning or notice, on October 19th my other three children were ripped from the home and placed in foster care, forcing two of my children (my two boys) to be taken from there schools and switched to another district. My younger three children who were taken by DSS on October 19th, had nothing to do with this situation at all. DSS has now held them for nearly 30 days without my wife and I being able see or talk to them. They are very good kids (soccer, honor roll, horseback riding). My children have made it through two deployments and they do not need any more separation. The DSS case worker (investigator) has missed appointments and opportunities for the children to be evaluated in a timely manner. There have been multiple rescheduled appointments. Until the evaluations take place, we are told that we cannot speak to or see our children. We understand they have policies and procedures that must take place in order for my wife and I to hold our children again, but the investigator has failed to do her job. I would like to talk more with you and give you all the details. I have text messages and e-mails to confirm all this. Our family will not be able to afford to take this agency to court. We fear that would do more damage to my family then has already been done. I just want my children back in their home. If nothing else, please investigate the case. You will see the discrepancies, (Case # 15-DR-40-3832). Thank you very much for your time and understanding.
