I was stopped by a police officer in Greer Sat Jan 2nd for speeding. Come to find out my license was suspended for not having insurance for one of my vehicle.vehicle. Re son one of my pickup truck VIN # DMV employee type 2 instead of Z when it was registered several years ago. so according DMV i don't have insurance for that truck.Last year same thing happen for the same truck and send the paper to state farm and never herd from state. On October 23rd got the same paper send to state farm. Final state farm agent found the difference on the Vin# last week But DmV never requested for verification of Vin# .They keep asking for insurance . If DMV have the insurance info in front of them and the difference is one letter somebody should send me a letter to verify that.It would have been rectified immediate.That officer could have taken me to jail that is what he told me .Mean while I don't have licence . My work is Driving.My wife has to take off to take me to DMV.I have to pay for the cost for new licence and reinstatement for Dmv mistake.I wanted to bring this to you attention. I never had bad record on me since i move to sc on 1989 .I could be sitting in jail till Monday (Greer is a small town)because of DMV mistake that was repeated twice should not happen in first place if the job done right
