The conditions require schools be closed for at least the week. That is when most roads are predicted to be safe to travel again. I personally need to get a student back to College of Charleston and I can't. The roads I use are closed. With the mind-set I have seen with the school the state of emergency we are in means nothing. Safety is not really considered until you say it needs to be done. We are in a serious situation, but many have no idea how to handle it. Thankful we are surviving. Thank you for your time.
