Now I see that a state senator wants to propose a bill similar to North Carolina's Transgender bathroom bill that threatens to cause job loss and significant damage to that state's reputation. This bill really shows the central problem with the current republican party and why if the party doesn't change it is doomed to major changes or a total collapse. What is seen is mostly old white males driving the message on conservative values with no real change with the times. Granted, I am a white male republican about 60, but I do not support where the party is heading. I hope you will realize that this attempt on bathroom bill is not really driven by safety concerns and tell the senate you will not sign the bill if it hits your desk. You have emphasized job creation, you can see by the reaction from North Carolina that bill will lose jobs and increase taxes for us South Carolina taxpayers which I definitely oppose. Thank you for the job you do and for your consideration of this letter. Sincerely Bruce Burton 64.138.231.166
