Many custodial parents use the system as a way of revenge or get back at the non custodial parent. Many non custodial parents have provided assistance, but because the custodial parent is angry, or scorned, they go through the system as a form of vigilante justice. Maybe an option is to award custody to the parent who is more stable and established. I feel that if that were an option, it would keep people from running to the system their only or first option. Also, the calculations are based on Gross Income. That's money that I don't see that I'm being asked to pay. I think it would be more fair to each party involved if it were based off net pay. We as fathers hold the moral responsibility to bring up our children, but we have no legal rights. Many women make it hard for us as fathers to keep that responsibility. Please look into this. This is hurting many of our men as fathers. We are being held accountable, but there is no accountability to the mother. Thank you. Ronnie A. Young, Jr.
