FLORENCE---Tobacco growers, quota owners, industry-related representatives, and others interested in the tobacco industry are invited to attend the 4th annual meeting of the SC Tobacco Growers' Association (SCTGA). The meeting will be held on Friday, January 25, 2002, at the Pee Dee Research and Education Center, 2200 Pocket Road, in Florence.

Registration for the meeting is scheduled from10 a.m. to 12 Noon. The business meeting for SCTGA members only will be held from 12:30 p.m. to 3 p.m.  The general session open to the public begins at 3 p.m. The topic for the meeting is the future of the tobacco industry. Refreshments and an evening meal will be served.
