Horry County Schools has issued a two hour delay for Wed 10/7 and Thurs 10/8. We also missed school on Mon 10/5 and Tues 10/6. For the Monday and Tuesday we missed we are being asked to make up these days on Mon October the 12th, and Mon January the 4th. This is absurd because the students and faculty were physically unable to come to work/school.Also we were in a federal state of emergency which means we are supposed to stay home and stay safe. All the other districts are off for the rest of the week and Horry County is expected to come in? Plus all the other districts aren't required to make up their days. There are people in Horry using boats to get around, that has to say something. All in all we the students and teachers are being told we have to come in to school in dangerous conditions. Please Contact an Horry County Schools official and do something about this mess. Thank You.
