The Governor’s Office issued a proclamation in 2014 and 2015 for Low Country Hog Fest. We would like to request a proclamation for this year 2016. The event dates have changed due to the change in Labor Day weekend. Low Country Hog Fest will be on September 2nd and 3rd , 2016.
Low Country Hog Fest is a sanctioned Kansas City BBQ Society Competition including live music, custom car show, kids zone, and more benefiting The Campaign for MUSC Shawn Jenkin’s Children’s Hospital. Last year the event brought in competition teams, judges, participants, and spectators from all over the state and beyond. Please let me know what procedure we need to follow for the new proclamation.
