Good day Pres. Henry Tisdale. I am Shakia Maiden the parent of Miss Student Activities Board President Shaketa Maiden-Harley. 
Unfortunately, last night Shaketa told me that a young lady woke up to a male pervert masturbating over top of her. My first question was: Where was security? Followed by: Where are the cameras?
Not to mention the fact that this had been going on for a few weeks. Therefore: Why are we just finding this out? This type of situation is extremely important to the fullest capacity. And to not let us know immediately is consistent with being irresponsible and negligent. 
I am appalled that this vital situation was kept hidden. Claflin University is a HBCU which in my opinion is a stand up university. Professionalism and security should be on the same level. 
My daughter is an extremely beautiful young lady and I am now concerned for her safety as well as all the other young lady's safety. How is it now that you all can assure me that I need not have any further worries? 
I live over seven hundred miles away from Claflin University. So it's not like I can get there in an hour.
I need to know like yesterday about the sound security that should have already been in place. Please surely convince me. I am waiting for an immediate response.
