My step child has made allegations of being molested by his grandfather while on court ordered visits. My wife, his after school center provider and a nurse have called in to make reports. The SC investigator made their interview and said they believe something happened. The occurrence happened while on a court ordered visit in New York. The investigation is still on going and we have asked for a temporary stop to the visits until the investigation has made their findings. We have lived in the state of SC since August 2nd 2014. All we get told is that the children are not residents of SC. No one is willing to suspend the visits until the findings are completed. I thought that protecting a child from being possibly molested is why we have child protection services. No agency will help these children. Please help us protect or children from a possible predator. Now NY family courts have made a new order(Dec 8th)to allow this possible molester to have the children over night from Dec 26th thru Jan 4th unsupervised. The grandfather who is the accused molester has not had an overnight visit with the children in over 3 years. The children have not seen or talked to the grandparents since the end of august when the children started school here. The children's mother my wife has sole custody and the father has passed from an overdose the week of thanksgiving. Why can no one help? Maybe the governor can help lead us down the right path to protect the children from possibly being harmed. Thank you for any help you can provide.
