"Jessie's law" makes sex offenders with multiple convictions eligible for the death penalty. Sanford says that the law makes it clear that there are some lines that you do not cross. It's named for nine-year-old Jessica Lunsford. She was kidnapped, raped, and suffocated in florida last year by a man who was a registered sex offender.
