Dear Mrs.Haley 
 I am a 23 year old single mother to a 7 year old, and I am currently working 40 hours a week. I rent a mobile home from which I just moved into this past August. My landlord has not returned my calls or texts they came out once a month and a half ago to see a mushroom growing in my bathroom they laughed it off and never returned to fix this mold problem. I am concerned not only for my safety but the safety of other tenants that will rent this home from them. They have a pest and rodent problem which I have contacted them and asked for the problem to be fixed via text and voicemail but neither was returned. This home is in very poor condition and I did not know this until it was to late. I tried the housing authority but the waiting lists are closed, Mrs. Haley the housing standards in South Carolina are horrible and people that truly need a home are not getting one. There needs to be a program for single mothers to get a home or for some kind of assistance because the plans and programs that we have in effect now are not reaching people that need it. I understand your a very busy woman but your job is to help the people of South Carolina you are our voice so I am asking you to help please.
