My district, Berkeley county, canceled school due to the dangerous conditions. However, there is a chance that we will now have to make up our missed school day on our Teacher Work Day. If there is any way that you could excuse this "storm day" so that we don't have to make it up, I know that all of the teachers in South Carolina would thank you! We have such an important job to do and we need that work day to get prepared for our most important customers, our students! Thank you for your time and consideration on this matter! Sincerely, Amanda Whitley First Grade Teacher
