Good afternoon!!  My name is Elizabeth and my husband's name is Jay.  We have 6 children of our own ages (6-22, 3 of which are in college).  We decided to become foster parents and since November 2014 we have brought a total of 6 foster kids into our home.  

In July of 2015 we brought a very active 4 year old boy into our home (he is part of a very, very high profile case).  His parents stalked and harassed my family all 3 months that he lived with us.  On October 24th at approximately 7:45 pm we went to my parents house to have a marshmallow roast and cook smores.  There were 7 adults and 8 children.  It was dark and the children were chasing each other around the house.  Within 2-3 minutes when I didn't see this boy run back into the back yard I went to the front yard.  This boy was gone and my 6 year old son and 8 year old nephew saw him walking with someone.  Within 5 minutes after the boy went missing, I had the police on the phone filing a missing persons report.  I am sure on the 911 tape you can hear my husband fussing that it was too soon to call the police.  He was missing for 3.5 hours.

The boys testimony along with what others suspect, is that his dad walked off with him from my parent's front yard.  He was found at the other end of the street then he was seen walking.  We all suspect dad picked him up but there is no proof.  I just received word yesterday that Columbia DSS investigator's supervisor (the investigator told me she didn't see us at fault) has decided we were at fault.  That means our foster license will be pulled, and we will be listed on the central registry.  All that is bad, but the worst part is we were getting ready to adopt a little girl through foster care that has been in our care for 12 months.  We have a trial 12/29 for her to be removed from our home.  Of course we plan to appeal, but we are all she knows.  I am begging you to assist us with this case.  If you look us up, we are good people.  We can't lose this little girl whom we picked up from the hospital when she was 3 days old.

I have a lawyer, Lisa Mobley, out of Greenville.  We are hoping to file a writ of supsedeas stating the court will leave her in our home until after the appeal.

My father is Bill Rhodes and is a huge tea party/republican fan.  He was with us the night this occurred.  

I am begging you to look at this case and help us in anyway possible!!  Thank you so much for your time!!  DSS in this state needs alot of help!!
