He has bee hospitalized 4 times and now is in Residential Treatment. As a Mom that was THE hardest thing for me to do in my life. He waited over 2 & 1/2 months to get into this residential facility which is a shame. There are waiting list all over the State for children to get the care they need. WHY? We throw our mentally ill out on the streets and where do they end up? Jail.... Now that doesn't make sense to me. I want to know what the States plan is for the mentally ill in the future. Last year my son and his twin sister {12years old] raised over $2500.00 for NAMI and our goal is for $3000.00 This year only Logan isn't with us to help and probably won't make the walk due to being in the facility but we take things day by day and hope as Logan is working on himself that we are doing the same. Please read our story. The issue isn't going away. https://www.crowdrise.com/thenolabels/fundraiser/kathyvanhalem
