We feel the solutions proposed are too costly and wish to share a plan with you we have shared with Molly Spearman. Simply put, we propose to reduce local dollars by any increase in State dollars to yield a tax cut for business and personal property outside Act 388. We have a low assessed value and a high millage rate which will not allow us to compete for growth within our County, much less the State. I understand you are scheduled to be in Clarendon County December 9th and would appreciate 10 minutes of private time with you and staff to show you where we obtained figures and hopefully provide you with a plan to present in January with your State of the State address. Thanks! Mike
