<WFUD_Request>I am asking for your help. I am the President of an association called SCACRP, South Carolina Association of  Community Residential Programs. I am also the owner and administrator of South Island Assisted Living located in Georgetown.  We are regulated by DHEC. Ninety eight percent of our homes take medicaid clients. I received a call today from DHEC telling me that DHEC was sent a memo from Governor Haley's office requesting a 3 % reduction in the DHEC budge and to increase DHEC Fee's to offset that reduction.
I asked for a copy of this memo and they told me I could not  get one that if I had any questions to contact Governor Haley's.
office. We have not had an increase in funding in three years and right now we are being paid $45.00 per day to house, feed 3 meals a day ,provide 24 hour care, wash clothes and provide transportation. If you could stay in a $45 dollar a night hotel would you get three meals ?
Please Governor Haley, help the poor people and disabled in the State of SC 
Be their voice theses people deserve more than $45 a day and these License home can't afford anymore fee's. The big Corporate Facilities will not take these folks because of their income. So,I'm asking you please please help.</WFUD_Request>
